COALFACE

a collaborative exhibition undertaken with Derren Lowe, Tim Burke, Sarah Jozefiak and Chris Tucker. The exhibition explored the relationship between geology and urbanism, with an emphasis on the extraction of coal and its relationship to the city of Newcastle

Silhouettes

This was an installation and exhibition of architectural drawing and etching, displayed within a forgotten and buried Victorian era pool, built over by a 1940s arcade. the project explored the courtship rituals of Adelie penguins to tell the story of the forgotten hole.

Flamant Roses

...an exhibition of drawings and renderings for Paris that looked at the flamingo in an architectural, literary and economic context. It drew inspiration from Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and the Flamingo Casino where it takes place.

Apocalypse

...a series of drawing and renderings that began as an exploration of the 12th Century Apocalypse tapestry, and the holes left behind. The work explores the context of the apocalypse within the context of post-industrialisation and the pandemic.

Dark Wilderness

...a project for a small prosthetic geared to survival within the minimum possible ecological and ethical footprint. The project collects its own water and energy to power a laptop and phone, and to grow soybeans for tofu production.
