Dungog

...undertaken with Derren Lowe, this was an addition to a rural farm house on a beautiful property in the Hunter Valley. The project created a new wing to the back edge of the site to provide a new living, bedroom and kitchen space and pool.

Tooke Street

... an alteration to a tiny workers cottage to optimise internal and vertical space, bringing light and ventilation from above and reconnecting with the street and backyard. The project removes doors and uses changes of level and the section to organise space.

Memorial Drive

...an alteration to a three-storey house in Newcastle with Derren Lowe, to connect with the views and open the internal planning, deck and circulation. The approach was to surgically modify the external skin of the building through incisions that create new connections with the views.

...a project for a joinery and workspace system using a steel fabrication detail derived from Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona column. The project. The system was used to provide a hotdesking layout in an adaptive re-use project for a heritage site 

bathhouse

... a small, low budget project to externalise the bathing and showering facilities for a tiny worker's cottage and reconnect with the backyard and garden. The project was less than 5 sqm, built from recycled materials and built for less then $1000.

Kempster Road

...a project to modify the northern edge of an existing mid-century brick house to manage views, privacy and the connection to outside. The project provided new living, sleeping and kitchen spaces and used the north wall to manage the connection to sun and views.
